Quick Answer
Clear six regular levels, continue into the corrupted day, then survive Legion to finish Lacey's Nursery. You can take damage and still unlock Lacey’s Nursery. For the separate Legion achievement, you need to survive the entire fight without taking damage.
How do you clear the six regular levels?
You clear each regular level by accepting children, meeting their needs, and returning them to their parents.
The nursery routine stays your focus across all six levels. You do not need a perfect score to earn Lacey’s Nursery. For broader help with the game, see the Lacey's Flash Games controls and play guide.
Welcome each child at the door
Pick up the arriving child and bring them into the nursery. Check what they need before choosing an activity. Your next task comes from that need, so keep watching it as you work.
Take the child to the right activity
Place the child at the activity matching their need. Keep an eye on their happiness while they wait. Avoid leaving children waiting too long or letting them become too upset. Better care gives you a higher score, but a perfect score is unnecessary for the achievement.
Return finished children to their parents
Once a child finishes, pick them up again. Bring them back to the door when their parents arrive to collect them. Keep repeating the arrival, activity, and collection routine through all six regular levels.
Choose how many children to handle together
You can focus on one child at a time to keep the routine manageable. The later-level tip also recommends working on two children at once. These are different approaches: use one child for a simpler routine, or follow the two-child tip in later levels. Whichever approach you use, keep watching needs and avoid long waits.
How do you trigger and pass the corrupted day?
You must continue through the level-up screens after the sixth regular level to reach the corrupted day.
Finishing the six ordinary levels does not finish the Nursery achievement route. The battle still lies ahead, so continue past that transition.
Continue after level six
Advance through every level-up screen, including the transition following the sixth regular level. You will reach an additional corrupted day.
Keep accepting and placing children
Accept the children and place them during the corrupted day. Wait for the corruption to spread and trigger the horror scene. You are progressing toward the battle when the normal nursery sequence breaks down.
Continue to the night arena
Continue through the sequence until you reach the night arena and fight Legion. The achievement requires surviving that battle, rather than only reaching the arena.
How do you survive Legion's attacks in order?
You survive Legion by changing position for each pattern, starting close during the spin and following its rotation.
Use this sequence to prepare for the next attack. Your position for one phase does not carry over unchanged into every later phase.
Spin: stay close and follow the rotation
Legion circles while firing bullets outward. Stay close and move around it in the same direction it turns. Backing away puts you into the spreading bullets. Keep following the spiral until this phase ends.
Straight dash: leave its path
After the spin, Legion charges straight toward you. Move out of that line to avoid the dash. Watch for this transition instead of continuing your circular movement automatically.
Side-to-side: use the middle, then move down
Move left and right with Legion during its sweeping attack. Stay in the middle of the bullet columns. The side columns leave narrower, less reliable spaces. Then drop to the bottom of the screen, as far from Legion as possible. This phase calls for distance after the central positioning.
Four-being split: position yourself between them
Legion splits into four beings that fire together. Position yourself between them, then move in the direction they fired to pass through the bullets. Treat this as a new pattern rather than continuing the previous left-right sweep.
Repeated dashes: wait for the lock-on
The final pattern repeats dashes followed by rows of bullets. Wait until Legion locks on before moving. Stay near it to reduce the bullets it throws out. When dodging, move through the gaps rather than trying to go around the rows.
When do you unlock Lacey’s Nursery and Legion?
You unlock Lacey’s Nursery by surviving the battle; Legion additionally requires a completely damage-free fight.
After the final barrage, wait for the white transition and victory screen.
Taking a hit does not mean you must abandon a run aimed at Lacey’s Nursery. You can finish that run and still earn it.
If you want Legion, any damage means that attempt no longer meets the damage-free requirement. The official achievement name is Legion, and its description is “Nap time.”
